The next big thing in Korean MMOs: Aion . A new game developed by NCSoft, which is already well known for its MMORPG Lineage 2. With Aion, the company wants to tackle Blizzard's success in the US and the EU. The game allows for PvP and PvE fights, though things work a little different than with other games (more details are said to be revealed soon, once the NDA falls). There is a total of 8 different Aion classes , divided into categories of scouts, warriors, mages and priests. A big different to other MMOs is that characters start with the inherent ability to fly, though apparently only over short distances. A big similarity to other games is the standard questing system. Given the strong graphical similarities and overlapping in players, we'll probably cover Aion more extensively at cabaldb.com as well in the future. In the mean time we can recommend Killer Guides' Aion Guide for those of you who want a headstart in the game.
